On my work bench, three cheapo army trucks, having Milliput added to sort out the profile of their tyres.

These could well end up being jump off points for my Brits in Malaya.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Malayan Emergency gamed. Should be interesting.

Having seen that I shall have to do the tyres on mine, it makes all the difference.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in

I'm also going to insert a wooden block into the chassis, it will give it more weight, and hopefully help with the rigidity so the flexing doesn't crack the paintwork. I've also tarted them up with stowage and a searchlight for one. very happy with these.

And sorry to be tedious, not the Emergency. These are going to be the platoon transport for 2nd Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders Dec 41.

Not tedious at all, merely accurate. I don’t know why I assumed the ‘Emergency’.
Or ‘Opportunity’ depending on perspective :D

Not even at your local Lard games day? Have a word with Wee Derek* for the next "Deep Fried Lard".

[* Warning - there are rumours that the "Wee" refers not to his height, but to the outfall from the copious amounts of alcohol he consumes. ]

There’s nothing ‘wee’ about Derek at all, but yes, the man drinks like a demon

I've heard that only the killer whale tank at Seaworld has a bigger "splash zone".

I had some old airfix trucks of a similar tyle and I found that bulk filling with a 50/50 mix of sand and polyfilla followed by a milliput skin on the bottom worked well and left them identical in heft to resin trucks.
