Chamfering is just the thin edge of the wedge.. oops. :)

I have inherited the toolshed, so if I knew what I was doing I could be tapping, routing, lathing and all sorts... I just need to get my own shed re-roofed and some better shelving put in, and I will start moving in all the heavyweight bits of kit like band saws. workbenches and so on.
Wargames dreams never die, they just get left in a box.

For gravel I usually saunter into the nearest building site and nick some. Tip: hard hat, yellow vest and clipboard are your friends here.

B&Q or Homebase does various grades of building sand. Other hardware stores are available.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

If it is a British worked site, just wander in after 1pm, no chance of a worker then.

If its EU nationals, 24hr worked.

Yep, then back to 3 hour days, and no chance of a carpenter, plumber, plasterer or electrician.

I am so looking forwards to brexit.

Based on the OP you're more likely to get more pegging talk on this forum.
