What's on your workbench?
Re: What's on your workbench?
Cool. I like them. I've recently been buying palm trees like there's no tomorrow. This is very inspirational. Ta muchly.

As a break from being facetious, I was going to ask if you are following the "How to...." guide on the TFL site, and whether you have managed to come up with any improvements on it?Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:19 am What idiot decided it might be nice to do some Far East gaming in 28mm?

It's not dissimilar to the TFL one, but I have changed it round a bit. I also looked at the stuff on the Tactical Painter site. Once they are finished I will write up the whole process.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 12:54 pmAs a break from being facetious, I was going to ask if you are following the "How to...." guide on the TFL site, and whether you have managed to come up with any improvements on it?Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 12:19 am What idiot decided it might be nice to do some Far East gaming in 28mm?

OK, I've read both and not been too daunted - look forward to your write-up.

Re: What's on your workbench?
and the Herbs got added..

So one noticeable thing about this project has been the sheer amount of stuff I have used. 100 bamboo.. vanished in a blink, 120 palm trees, used up, multiple aquarium mats, etc.. not to mention prodigious amounts of glue, paint, mdf, etc..
It's very near completion, and I won't be looking to tackle anything like that again for a while. Phew. Now, how am I going to store this lot..

I like the bamboo forest tiles a lot, where were the models for those from? The 'litter' on the base looks good too, I must add some 'erb to mine.
