My very large bottle of 'Chroma Incredible Brush Cleaner' ("removes years old paint")is nearly empty & evidently not carried any more by the LHS.
Any recommendations or are all brush cleaners much the same, after the hype?

I use turpentine, but I paint with enamels.

I clean my brushes with water, but every now and then soak them overnight in a bottle of Windsor & Newton brush cleaner. It’s really good.

Re: Best Brush cleaner
old thingies brush soap seems quite good.
For day to day cleaning i tend to use tamiya thinner - that seems to break down acrylics even when dry.
After a podcast recommended using Vallejo Brush Restorer as a magic potion that revitalises old brushes i thought i would give it a go. Its rubbish and does nothing of the sort.

I use nail varnish remover, one with acetone, to remove acrylic paint from my brushes.

Re: Best Brush cleaner
I use something called "Zest It" that I bought from Rosemary and Co when I bought my brushes, I dunno if its that good but it smells of lemon. most of the time I pick bits of paint off the bit where the hairs meet the metal rather than clean it which inevitably means that my brushes get smaller and smaller and eventually are left with about 3 hairs
