We were really surprised to see one rolling across Pegasus Bridge during the D-Day 65th Anniversary commemorations in 2009. I had no idea that there were any left, but someone's got one running (I've since seen another one restored to working condition on the BBC's One Show).

I've wanted one in 15mm ever since I found a photo of the 1st Polish Armoured Division using them as an engineer recce vehicle in Normandy.

Sadly, I think it's almost 100% certain that they were Lucas lights. They seemed to have the British military lighting monopoly.

Thereby explaining the British military's difficulties in night-fighting... though you would think that they would be used to the dark.
