Loads of terrain to be updated and built for Carronade. Pavements, roads, trees, gardens, etc.
Re: What's on your workbench?
The last of mt Russian and Duchy of Warsaw command
I'm hoping to finish them this week and then complete the basing next weekend
I then plan to have a few weeks off painting to try and play a few solo games with Black Powder as there is a Borodino refight in Wellington at the end of the month
I'm meant to be Poniatowski but I'll be useless if I don't get some idea of how to play BP

The last 3 Brigade Games Canadian Voltigeurs which I failed to complete today! Missed my target for February by 8 figures!
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

French for the Peninsular.
WWII in 6mm - British Paras
Some absolute weirdness from Eureka's Chaos range. I'm loving the f--ed up Hieronymous Bosch inspired stuff in those sets. Also, a great and rare opportunity to use the Codex Seraphinianus as a painting reference. this guy here rides a barrel and has some sort of nude gimp pushing him along.

Gonna build an entire Saga Age of Magic force around them, which will reflect my one and only foray into fantasy games scaled above the RPG-lite stuff like Frostgrave. And should just floor my gaming partners -- they'll never see it until it's too late to unsee. Whahahah!

That's a particularly splendid example. I've got most if not all of the Eureka "Bosche" figures. They make for an excellent 'army of the damned'. They'll be on the painting desk one day when I can find it.

I agree, it’s a great range and it’s on my wish list. Looking forward to seeing this develop.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Re: What's on your workbench?
What is it about prevaricating? There are a lot of things nearly complete, and instead I reorganise 15mm Vikings for a possible trip to Warfare in November, or sand and undercoat some more Napoleonic infantry, when I already have literally hundreds (or more) in this state. And they are only there to play SP2 with.
It wouldn't take much for me to finish off the British Malaya platoon, or the Japanese supports, and I should be getting out the airbrush and making a start on the Japanese core platoon. But no, sidetracked into fossicking in the lead pile.

I never consider undercoat and prep fossicking. I love having the paint urge and just being able to start instead of having to spend hours prepping first.

True, but I already have literally a couple of hundred in this state for British Napoleonic alone. Why add to the prep pile when I should be finishing stuff off. Or even better, finishing terrain for a show game.FreddBloggs wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 8:40 am I never consider undercoat and prep fossicking.
