Wow, that's a fair old set of ailments there! Hope this is not the CV. For me, it's type 2 Diabetes, asthma and a dose of atrial fibrilation; still a way to go to match your missus, but I don't venture out of the house without a good reason. Mind you, that's pretty much my MO when there isn't a global pandemic going round the 'hood!
Best wishes to your wife, sport.

That's just the edited highlights She takes around 40 tablets a day and often has to use a nebuliser for the COPD.
It sounds like you should be taking precautions to make sure you don't catch it!

I've been talking things over with the Memsahib, at present we are both fine and the only risk factor is our age. The cottage is already paid for and would be a nightmare to try claiming it back, we can self isolate up there if the weekend has to be called off.
If we stay well and the A170 doesn't clog up with more zombies than usual we will come up. Of course, new restrictions may come along to kibosh it.

I think the constant news about covid is making things seem a lot worse than they really are. However it would be foolish to think that there was no risk of spreading it by meeting people from across the country.
Given the way that the Government is being railroaded into taking more and more severe measures we may find ourselves unable to travel or with no where to eat!
It's a very fluid situation and ultimately we'll be at the mercy of others

As you say Paul, the decision may well be taken out of our hands as Hotels, pubs and restaurants shut themselves down. I don't think it's time for a hard and fast decision at present, but I do envisage a cancellation.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

At least with the experts saying that 95% of cases will have happened within 10-12 weeks, Ayton 2 should be relatively safe.

Given the PM’s press briefing this afternoon it would appear any social event is now off-ski, including going to the pub. It’s Peeler I feel most sorry for.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.
