Baron, simply rest your pint on her head & calm her anger by preordering a sandwich for later on. It'll give her something to think about as she calms down.

Actually, she chips in at a respectable 5' 4" - a foot shorter than me, so I can rest my pint on her head when she's standing in front of me.
How shelfish....

I think he said they're based on Vikings. I'm no expert, but they look great to me!

The bases are MDF on magentised sheet, from Tiny Tin Troops. I am holding off on finishing the bases till the whole army is done, so they are nice and consistent.

Now that all manufacturing for AB Figures is done in Oz, they use a distinctly softer metal than was formerly the case when Mike H did them here in the UK. It gives finer detail than Mike's pewter, but the lances, sword-blades, flagpoles, etc are bendier and weaker than Mike's castings. I've therefore decided to replace the lances on these Cossacks with some steel 'uns. There's no fannying around with lance-pennants, so that makes the job a bit easier. These were 50mm steel spears that I've cut to 35mm. The blades are a somewhat broad for Napoleonic lance-heads, but they look ok:
