Stop it, I spend far too much there already.
I do actually think of this thread as the Buff thread.

I'm sure they are contacting their lawyers.

Thence to "Ardhammer" - a new bring & buy event at Gateshead Masonic Hall.

Absolute bargain bonanza.

Essex miniatures 15mm Confederate starter army: £10

Bunch of terrain sets, including the Warlord games "ruined hamlet" kit, for £15

I am a happy camper.

I actually passed on the chance of attending the big table sale at Penkridge today. I was busy playing Frostgrave all day. I was not at all worried about meeting an ex girlfriend who was living there. After nearly 46 years I doubt if we would have recognised each other.

Latest delivery from H&R was some Early War planes -Spits, Blenheim's. ME109E's, Heinkel 111's, Dewotine 250's and Amiot 143's. All in bunches of 2. Already have the rare earth magnets to fix to bases although the French bombers look a tad too chuncky for just one.

Anyone know if you can get larger octagonal(?) clear plastic bases than the usual size?

Litko are probably your best bet, Figures in Comfort are the UK supplier:

Edit: just remembered that Warbases do acrylic bases as well as MDF and Martin’s custom service is second to none, he could probably cut any size/shape you want:

The phrases 'basing advice' and 'Esex Boy' should not be in the same sentance...anywhere...ever.
