I see your pain, RMD, but I'm another of those with a flag 'thing'.

You can seek help, Iain. I would suggest a visit to FA.

Oh me too. I'll happily convert figures where a unit SHOULD have or MIGHT have a flag (see below), but where Tony Barton (Peace Be Upon him) hasn't made the standard bearer. But it's HAVING to buy standard bearers as part of packs that annoys me. What the fack do you put on the pole if a particular troop type was never issued with any sort of standard? For example, a friend of mine paints figures for a certain figure company's online catalogue and was asking "what flag should go on the Prussian Jaeger standard bearer's flagpole...?" The Jager command pack came with a standard bearer...

Sorry, but that's just dogshit research. By all means make an extra standard-bearer figure for people to buy who want them (Christ alone knows why), but don't include them in the command pack as standard.

I think a FAR more pressing matter is for all hussars to have pelisses slung over their shoulders! They would in this man's army... :hair:

I’m with the apprentice-botherer on this one, I’ve never needed an extra standard bearer as standard in my life and the fishing weight pile has dozens (well, one or two) of them. And don’t get me started on drummers :hair:
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

RMD - Nice work on the birdies.

RMD - I agree, even in my world a flag for Jaegers is a bit of a stretch, and an odd choice to have a figure sculpted.

RMD - "All hussars to have pelisses slung over their shoulders".......... so very right.

Bro - cheers Bro.

LT - I often don't bother at all with drummers. They make the unit look messy and take up room on a base which would be better filled by a standard bearer.
