What are people buying?
Re: What are people buying?
If you buy nothing else this year, buy II Stu. It’s awesome
Re: What are people buying?
Sounds most logical to me. The infantry are in open order, right?

No infantry are in closed order, freighters are in open order.

Re: What are people buying?
Smart move, don't want to make too bigger target for torpedoes.
Re: What are people buying?
Probably will do, if only because there's someone locally with a shed load of 28mm Gauls that really need a kicking. If you buy nothing else this year, buy II Stu. It’s awesome
And by the time this current situation is over he'll be a new dad and hence desperate to get out the house....
Re: What are people buying?
Are you talking to me? If so, then no, that's close order. The equivalent of 6 to a 50mm base, slightly larger than Dear Henry's 45s but rather smaller than his ruleset 60s. Open order will be maybe 8 or 9 figures. Or 6. Maybe. 4 chaps to an artillery piece.
Re: What are people buying?
I am indeed.
Re: What are people buying?
Actually, I was reprising banter from when we started the Ayton 18thC thing. Some people opted for six figures on a 45mm base while others preferred six figures on a 50mm base. I would playfully point out that the latter was in fact open order. Endless fun.
Re: What are people buying?
Yes, I remember. And what would 6 on a 60mm base be? Rather loose I suppose. I went for 100x50 rather than 90x45 because the mounted can fit on them too. And 100x50 is nicely ocdish too. Even numbers like.
I've just looked at my artillery chaps, and it's actually one firing/aiming, one stood with a rammer, one stood with a bucket and one just stood. Not quite as Airfix as I thought.
