I'm pretty sure my sons were too young to have thought this up themselves, and actually found it on-line, but when flying back from a holiday in Florida, about 7 years ago, we were going through security and I had to take my belt off. As I did so, they both started crying: "Oh, Daddy, no - please don't hit Mummy again!"

The little shits don't know it yet, but they have both been disinherited.

And I now wear braces.....

Big mail drop today. 54mm WW1 Indian set and my birthday present from Spencer Smiths. A minor glitch as one of the Zouave heads turned out to be a Gurkha pillbox hat. Not a big deal as I was going to use those heads for my engineers in my next order.

I've seen those HYW Mounted, and I am trying hard to look away. They are simply magificent little works of art.

I heard this story from a friend of mine almost twenty years ago, whose two angelic looking young sons aged about 12 and 10 were behaving much worse than normal, and acting up in the supermarket. So he spoke to them quite sharply, and as one, they both fell to the floor, covering their head in their hands saying.. 'no no daddy, don't beat us again' - which got him some death stares from fellow shoppers, and luckily for him, no police intervention.

They are now perfectly normal and respectable young men, I must ask them about that incident when I next see them.
