Re: What's on your workbench?
Making progress on my Marines for Ayton (the 20th Century game). It makes a nice change to be able to paint figures from memory instead of a reference book, I can just look at a colour and think, "Yea, that's about right". As far as DPM goes I can just go downstairs and check my jacket.
The MOFO figures are really good, there's a totally believable bit of variety in some kit. Most are wearing standard issue DMS boots and puttees, a few have bought their own high boots, probably from the Silverman's catalogue and one guy is clearly wearing Berghaus Goretex gaiters. If I wanted to nit pick it is a bit odd that none of them are equipped with a bayonet or Fairbairn–Sykes fighting knife on the web equipment.

Very nice MG Purps. So, you're WW2 guns are as lightweight as your SYW?

I’ll have you know I’m going to wop a big one on the table at Ayton and you shall be awestruck by its magnificence.

I feel I must get in touch with my member.

I could make them more effective by upgrading them to Elite but what sort of person would stoop so low!
