It’s Vaseline they use....

And that only by people with no running water in their shacks. Those with running water shower every day

Are you suggesting I didn't mix with the previously disadvantaged? Next thing you'll be telling me I've never dropped in on Eric's Hillbrow place. :)

But yep, you're right about the vaseline thing unless it's really rural. The farms out in the Karoo are pretty different, so is Ermelo, but that's a whole other story.

Just received some 6mm scenics for my WWII and GNW builds. The little stacks of cannonballs are so cute!

Now awaiting Helion's pyke & shotte rules, and a volume on the Russo-Turkish War of 1711-13. Ties all my GNW forces together. Saxons/Poles, Swedes, Ottomans, Russkies, and potentially the Venetians. Though the latter, the Morean War, may end up being a bit too peculiar and lacking in English language sources.

Not heard of Pyke and Shotte, must have a look. I already have Pike and Shotte and Pike and Shot so I might as well get them. I may have to write Pyke and Shot to complete the set.

Not to mention the traditional/chav version, Pick & Snot, and the Irish variant, Poke an' Shoitte.

That's because Essex girls were both choosy and classy. They'd only go with XR3i owners and would demand curry sauce on their chips after a sorting.

I like curry sauce on my chips. Can I have it without the car ride and ‘sorting’ though please?
