I’ve been finishing off a medieval Welsh army, suitable for 1200 to 1450 (with apologies for the crappy photos - they don’t shine this much in real life).

It consists almost entirely of Archers:

and Spearmen:

and led by Llywelyn ap Iorwerth, Prince of Gwynedd:

It’s rather appropriate to finish this off during lockdown, as the army was started and largely completed during my own lockdown back in the 80’s owing to a bout of shingles:

But the good news is that it is definitively finished as there’s no more room in the box!

So no more lockdowns :moredrink:
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

You could get a few more skirmishers in the back there :)
Great looking army, I wish I had you industry :(
While you're feeling all medieval can you hear the Barons War figures calling?

Lovely work LT, thought sadly completely unhistorical. I do not see a single sheep attached to a Welshman’s groin area in there.

I can’t recall all of them but most are Essex as I was into them big in the 80’s, others might be 1st Corps and there’s 3 Footsore.

I always feel medieval, I have too many campaigns underway, but this lot will partake in the Baron’s War and a couple of the command figures are Footsore, so I am hearing that specific call :D
