What are people buying?
Re: What are people buying?
Well my 3D Printed Matilda FROG turned up.... TBH I'm quite impressed. A crisp lightweight model... OK so not dripping with detail but then those bits of detail tend to be the bits that get snapped off...
Seems ideal for my purposes.

Two cans of Halfords grey primer and a tube of Loctite superglue.

That's one way of making it last longer, although I'm not sure what the primer is for.

Re: What are people buying?
Just got a Late Roman army box from Plastic Soldier Company, made in their new "Ultracast" material. The flash is excessive and any attempt to file it off leaves a furry surface just like the old Airfix polythene figures. It is also very brittle and clipping figures off the sprue has resulted in several breakages. I dropped a cavalry figure on the kitchen floor and one of the forelegs snapped. I think I will put this down to experience and get some metal instead.
