I did have but sold the 1st corps. They are very animated so look a bit of a disorganised rabble which I didnt like for well drilled Romans. Otherwise they matched up sizewise. Newline being possibly slighty bigger. I like my Newlines but not many poses, the Triari are great with kneeling poses.

I thought 1st corps were a little cartoony, but you could say that about Foundry so I'd guess they would sit better with Foundry and scale wise too.

1st corps worked out very expensive for what you get. Newline are cheap as chips, probably about half the price for a 24 man unit if you get their show deal of 20% off. I think I was paying £17 for a 24 man bag of Newline and around £40+ for 1st corps, which I didn't rate as much.

Thanks Tim, they do some cavalry that is different to the newlines was all. Not looking at them for rank and file (I have plenty of them from Sean).
