Absolute and utter upset & horror on the store side that anyone could not be happy with their Boyes purchase. This would make a normal customer feel guilty for complaining.
Or.
Absolute and utter upset & hatred towards the customer who wasn't happy with their Boyes purchase. This would make a normal customer fear for their personal safety even after - if - they managed to leave the store alive.
So, like being here then.

Last time I was inside Boyes, I spilt a half litre of cream and they didn’t complain

I’ve been running with that Boyes joke for at least 8 years to this group and you’ll all agree it’s still hilarious even now on the 72nd time

Lamming Romans.

And not buying more Romans on eBay due to a schoolboy error............which I'm having surprising difficulty getting over.

Does anyone have stupidly cheap Lamming ancients that they want to shift? Virtually no price will be paid.......thereby consoling me.

A pox on my stupid eBay adventure.

It has become an institution - also very much like this place.
