I had a look, but their 28mm stuff doesn't include any ancient buildings. I'm probably better off scratch building Gallic houses etc.
Based entirely on Asterix of course.

I’ve got a little of their 28mm stuff and I’d agree, their building are beautiful and I’ve always been tempted by those smaller scale village sets.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

If you're going to the same show as me in the next year or so, remind me and I'll bring you some proper Stonehenge Bluestone to build your menhirs.Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 3:09 pm I had a look, but their 28mm stuff doesn't include any ancient buildings. Actually an Asterix Village in 6mm to go with Troy has long been on my list of insane but doable projects!
Re: What are people buying?
Some Army Painter Military Shader, some of the fancy bronze GM uses and some black paint. All arrived today.

A cheap Chinese Optivisor knock-off, tenner off Amazon. I'm impressed so far.. and Stonehenge Megaliths in 1/56 would be a very cool addition to the gaming table.
As for shows, I have just officially announced to club members that Targe 2020 is cancelled. Further notices will go out in due course, but there's just no way in good conscience that we could go ahead. Very disappointing.

To be honest, not even thinking about shows until 2021. By the way, bases arrived safe and sound, cheers.
Re: What are people buying?
That's a real shame, that and Warfare in Reading were always my favourite two shows....plus Colours once it moved home. I have fears for 2nd Ayton but i've booked accommodation for that in a rare burst of optimism.Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:12 pm As for shows, I have just officially announced to club members that Targe 2020 is cancelled.

No worries Fredd. I'm working on my Karma, so I've painted 6mm for charity, sent a Metal Magic Cleopatra to Spain for nowt, and donated bases to yourself. Now if only the magic painting elves would appear overnight..
