That's a real shame, that and Warfare in Reading were always my favourite two shows....plus Colours once it moved home. I have fears for 2nd Ayton but i've booked accommodation for that in a rare burst of optimism.
That's nice of you to say (about Targe) Paul. Warfare is still planned to go ahead in its new home at Ascot is it not?, I'm actually currently booked in to play, but I am increasingly dubious as to whether I will actually attend.

I think they might be at my place, finishing loads today and the whiskey bottle is empty!

send them over once they're finished there. I'm just weighing up whether I assemble some Victrix Numidian foot, or do I actually bite the bullet and start painting... I'm thinking of airbrushing the flesh colour on the Germanic Tribes..

Strangely enough I’m ok with no shows till next year. I wargamed for 27 years without having any around, so not having them around again isn’t a biggie. I’m still getting my gaming fix in a variety of formats, so that’s fine. I’ve also got more than enough hobby stuff to keep me occupied. We’ll see what 2021 brings

It's still on, at the moment. Whether it will survive any second spike that might happen seems unlikely though :(

I've decided not to do a game at Warfare this year, mainly because I don't want to be booking hotels only then to have to cancel. If it's on I'll probably pop down for the day, not least to bring their trophy back!

Warfare might be stuck in the, venue is open (horse racing is happening) so no grounds to cancel without financial loss, conundrum.

That's a very good point. It's always been a marginal proposition for me, involving a 950 mile drive, and I just can't see it being worthwhile this year.

That is a shame about Targe, but the right decision in the circumstances. I can’t see any show going ahead this year and probably not until summer 21, assuming all goes well.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

It's really the only decision we could make. And we can afford to, but losing the show affects the club finances. Not sure whether some other clubs will be similarly affected. We can sit back and plan to make 2021 a roaring success. Assuming we aren't all being driven out into the fields or subsisting on turnips by then.
