Ok, so Victrix sent me the release newsletter about their new Dacians, went to check it out on their site and came away with Numidian cavalry, and two sets of LBMS transfers. How does that happen?

I'm weak.. but then I tell myself I am ahead of the curve, I already have Numidian Light infantry, plus the Victrix Carthaginian box, a dozen Spaniards and so on, so I have a decent chunk of a Carthaginian force, and I've constructed my Late Republican Romans so they can be repurposed as Punic War Republican Roman. So a few Iberian cavalry and it's Scipio and Himilco.

Bloody hell, get thee behind me.. the last thing I need is additional unpainted toys! But I do have some Theurophoroi, it would be a shame for them to to go to waste...

I can resist pikes quite easily by reminding myself how hard they are to store...

A Lidl experiment today, this week's offers included green-beige car primer. Sadly not Sandgelb or dunkelgelb but a pretty decent undercoat.

That looks all right. I found a spray can of "Sahara Beige" in the local artshop a while back which is perfect for spraying large numbers of 15mm ECW horse to depict buff coats, but I suspect it might also do for 1940s North African vehicles.
