Catching. Just like Covid 19. But more deadly.

Actually unlike the Getaway Alliance, the Army of Dystopia have a distinguished and victorious combat record and have always performed with great distinction, it's all in the being bigger thing.

The horse attached to my Northern regiments are awkward bedfellows in the army group. Bunch of hooray Henry's from the posher estates of Yorkshire and Northumbria, all light cavalry, more bothered about women and wine than actually doing battle. Expect them to hang around in the rear until they charge out of nowhere for the glory. The man body won't be relying on them. The Gordons in particular bring with them battle honours from Framlingham's weekend. The Natal contingent are still plucky as ever and watch out for the Guards and East Lancs Regt with all their mod cons!

So what you're saying is that the "Getaway" and "Don't stop, Iain" forces both believe in "getting there fastest with the mostest", but merely disagree in which direction they should be heading. Got it.

Gentlemen, I have to apologise but I don't think I will be attending this event after all. I think I was being overly optimistic, and in the light of some recent events I am not happy with the safety measures some of our fellow countrymen seem to think acceptable. At present I have no desire to be in pubs or restaurants, Being in an "at risk" group I would need to feel safe, and frankly I just do not feel that way. So I'm sorry. I would like nothing better than for us all to get together and play Toy Soldiers and enjoy each other's company, but currently that does not seem feasible. I believe we would do better to write off events like this and await better and safer times next year.

I second this. Despite having booked a room at The Lodge, things haven't been going the way i'd hoped and I too don't have much faith in the general populace to do what they're supposed to. Whilst I'm sure we could all conduct ourselves in a sensible way for playing the games, what we will lose is the incredibly important social aspect. Also the prospect of gathering people from all over the country into one smallish area won't look the most responsible thing to do, especially when I am sure many of us or our loved ones fall into the 'at risk' groups.

Thirded. There are too many people around me who seem to be treating this as a joke.
I may not die, but I sure don't want my 82 year old mother to be at risk. It's not something I was likely to attend, but Tim and Paul echo my concerns. How would you feel if you organised an event and people died?
