That's the way I'm doing my infamy bases, but for the medievals I prefer the Zombie style stuff. I just see them as not being as well ordered, so Warbases 6 man zombie bases x 2 for a unit. Placed either beside or behind each other.

Sorry for being a bit thick here, but why do you need the little magnet if you've got the ferrous base (which I assume is also magnetic, given that it is replacing your previous "go-to" of magnetic paper)?

Yep. That puzzled me too. My figures are glued onto pennies then I put a magnet in a hole in the base.

I did test the bases without magnets but the ferrous paper isn’t strong enough to hold them securely, the pull is exerted downwards not upwards if that makes sense. I base on steel washers and store the figures on base and to a magnetic strip in the box - possibly overkill but they used to get a lot of travel and I’ve avoided any damage no matter how much the mileage.

Should be organising the troops today but there’s a break in the rain, so........gardening 🌻

Thanks for explaining that. I've never had a problem with boxing up armies on the old paper version, using metal bases, but then they were only 15mm figures.

After a big rebase/re-box exercise I think I've sorted out what I need to paint up to fill the gaps, this is about half the Yorkist force:

Still liking the 10 man bases, although I will probably reserve it for the WotR project (although I'm having minor fantasies about using it for DBA armies :D )

Bloody nice, for a bloody conflict - nice to see that rebasing is alive and well.
