I hope GM lent it to a guy called Michael Jackson to play with one weekend.

He probably would have dangled it dangerously over a balcony.. to the appalled screams of the crowd.. nothing less than attempted Marder..

Well, I'm in as you've kindly given me some ACW. I do want to enter the WW2 too though, especially if there's a vehicle catagory.Ilkley Old School wrote: ↑Thu Oct 15, 2020 5:51 pm Come on you know that we need a 20mm historical (not WW2) category even if only Eric, Gary and myself will enter.
Or are there other 20mm aficionados who are willing to come out of the shadows.
Do the winners, 2nd place and thirds all get trophies?

Hmmm.. I have a very nice Rubicon Sherman kit that might be fun to do. Post November 1 you say? I might have to get it out of the box and figure out what options to build.

I should have pulled the workbench out of hibernation by then (long story) so should have something to put up for VV21...

Does anyone want to meet up on zoom one evening? I do zoom for work and have started a "runners pub" for my trail running mates to stay in touch and its been good for that. Happy to schedule a session.

Argh, I've spare monies and you've gone and said that. Now I'm looking at their Jagdpanzer. Some lovely stuff coming out of Rubicon recently.Shahbahraz wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 8:59 am Hmmm.. Yep. I'm so tempted by the Rubicon Comet. Loved them since building the Matchbox 1/76 kit back in the 70s. But then I would have to buy Empress Minis Late War British to go with it, which would inevitably lead to Empress Minis Volksgrenadiers, and then inexorably to winter terrain and Dutch/North German architecture. You know how it is. I'm still trying to ignore the Corgi M48 in Vietnam guise...
