Those Scots armoured pikemen look really good. Sooo tempting if I didn't have a tonne of 6mm ones.

We've had a restock of the 6mm Raiden aircraft this month and there's a few new models in this batch! We've got an Italian bomber for the WWII players and a snazzy Saab 37 Viggen for the more modern Swedes. Then for the Americans we've got both the B-66 Destroyer and A-10 Thunderbolt (Warthog)! The latter is a very useful addition for anyone gaming the US in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Raiden - http://www.minibits.net/raiden-aircraft/
ITA010 CANT Z.1007 £6.95
USA119 Douglas B-66 Destroyer £8.95
USA134 A-10 Thunderbolt II £4.95
SWE101 Saab 37 Viggen £2.95

And some pics:

Let's get the smut out of the way. "Nice Cant..."

Lovely looking little models with bags of character.

I am always attracted to a nice little cant.

Raiden are almost GHQ quality, but you don't payy the same as the cost of the real thing.

We've been really impressed with them, they're cracking little models.

They manage to get enough panel detail to not look like silhouettes but not to look as though they have funny ridges all over them. To me, there is a mid point between GHQ prices and microblob sculpting and they fit right in there.

I always preferred them to GHQ which always seemed to have overly exaggerated detail and too many parts. Most of my 1/300 or 1/285 aircraft were Raiden. Nice to see they seem to be keeping up a regular release schedule too.
