I might try and do an RMD and tally up for the year end to give me a target for next year!

That seems like a good idea.

As of today, I’m at 1,610. I might be able to squeeze another 60 out before month end

I've done a load of Total Battle Miniatures buildings and village/hamlet 'mats'. Pointswise I suppose we can class them as 'vehicles', as they take about the same amount of time and effort?

So that's 15x buildings and three mats at 12 points apiece = 216 points

Then some more 15mm Seven Years War:

A Prussian Horse Artillery gun and crew. These are my first painted Eureka figures and I definitely like them (the gun is by OG 15s). They're also no different in size to the Old Glory 15s, despite what the doomsayers said. Anyway, that's 18 points.

Here's the Imperial 'Furstenberg' Regiment (Old Glory 15s). 32x figures at 3 points each = 96 points.

So added to my previous total of 3,072 points that gives me a new total of 3,402 points.

Over on another forum, a guy called Kev Lowth (screen name "Fat Wally"), who paints as a business, has totalled up his score for the 21st Century, thus far (because it's work, he logs everything). It comes to exactly 53,471 figures.

Not points, figures. In 20 years. Or slightly more that 2,673 figures per annum. My hands became arthritic just thinking about that......

He's just added that of that 53+k, 28k were for his own collections, of which he had sold 17k over the same period.

By any standard, the man is an absolute phenomenon.

I will only build the sort of collections I want by getting rich and setting up a sweat shop in Peru.

Jeez, those buildings are gorgeous.
