Great stuff... nice figures, nice scenery, and should be a ton of fun.

Re: LT's Workshop
My Elizabethan project is nearly finished (ie the box is nearly full). A unit of billmen, either loyal Elizabethans or rebellious yokels depending on the day of the month:
Plus a few more standard bearers to change units around from Loyalists, Rebels or Spanish:
Not finished these off yet as I'm still looking for suitable English rebellion flags - there's the Banner of the 5 Wounds but still searching for others.

They look nice.
Re: LT's Workshop
write to the nice man at Flags of war - I sent him a copy of Llewelyn Fawr's flag and he's just made it!
Re: LT's Workshop
Those are lovely BTW - what's the flagbearer wearing on his head?Almost looks like a top hat

Re: LT's Workshop
It almost is - there are pictures showing the London Trained Bands wearing this tall felt monstrosity, recorded by Thomas Lant in The Funeral Roll of Sir Phillip Sydney, 1587, but not unique to them as it’s apparently recorded in France and Spain as well.
And good call on Flags of War, their Irish Renaissance range has a couple of suitable banners

Re: LT's Workshop
Those Elizabethans have turned out really well. I second the praise for Flags of War too!
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

I love the flag bearer, he not only looks ludicrous, and has a real human anatomy, but also looks like he would rather be anywhere else. From the side he also looks a bit like Tommy Cooper.
