#1 son is currently eyeing up a 3D-P, but he has just moved into a new flat and wants to install it in a large walk-in cupboard with no external openings (ie windows), one internal door, and zero ventilation. The Baroness and I are currently trying to persuade our child genius that he will become very unwell with this set-up.

That's one of the possibilities, I've changed that and put it back in for another go. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the help. I'm a complete tyro at this 3d stuff so all assistance gratefully received.

As my Mars has yet to be used in anger due to problems getting a decent place to use it, anything I know is currently purely theoretical

Well - my second go failed as well. So it's back to re-levelling, and trying a different print. Fingers crossed again...

I tend to agree. I’ve been thinking for a year now about getting one, and most of my mates have one and rave about it. But it’s a hobby all in itself and I suspect will steal time for painting and gaming which is already at a premium. Not to mention printing stuff that just adds to the plastic pile.

I might give in one day. Who knows
