Just picked up 32 British AWI light bobs for 20 Euros
Silly me, forgot to mention that they are Foundry figures. I think they're being repatriated from Spain as part of the Brexit negotiations.

Now I'm not going to read your posts anymore!! That's the same project I'm going to have to aim for next!Paul wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 11:44 am So after a healthy pledge to that Kickstarter I felt able to get the other figures I 'needed' for a 15mm Valhalla project i'd been musing over the years. So ten or so packs from Copplestones Barbarica range have duly been purchased to cover for the various non human figures I need. I'm not going to read CBs posts anymore

Well done - most stuff I see from Spain is either useless crap, or ridiculously over-priced (even without the postage).Buff Orpington wrote: ↑Fri Feb 23, 2018 4:38 pm Just picked up 32 British AWI light bobs for 20 Euros
Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)

Re: What are people buying?
I bought a bottle of Army Painter paint today. Not exactly Hold the Front Page stuff but when you take into account that I bought it in a Model Shop in Maidstone it's brilliant. A new shop has opened with so much wargaming related stuff it's finally brought the town into the 21st Century. Speaking to Mr. Propietor he says he will be stocking Vallejo paints, just like his other models shop in Rochester. Currently has loads of groundwork material, Bolt Action stuff (far too big)and a lot of Battlefront 15mm ( just about usable if ever I needed another WWII scale) so Subs is a happy bunny!

Nothing unusual about a shelf in a junk shop. When did you get the toy soldiers?

I think I may have got a bit beer festivalled on Saturday because a copy of Osprey/Battlefront rules 'Nam and Elite 38 The NVA and Viet Cong dropped into my doormat. They do look mouth wateringly good rules though, at first glance they seem to be Team Yankee based and have pretty complete army lists and a basic painting guide. Peter Pig has just revamped their NAV line as well.
