Ayton Bring n' Buy

Post by tim.w »

I'm sure there will be some quality items on offer so here's my selection.

Box of Les Higgins 20mm foot, horse, guns paid about £70 last year. Ive trimmed off some of the foot bases to fit them onto the size bases I was going to use. £45

Big box of TSSD WWII 54mm figures. £40

Plus a selection of odds and ends open to offers.

Ah ha! So you won't be wanting the 20mm WSS Les Higgins unit I owe you then? I'm very sorry to say that I have quite a pile of spare LH WSS, otherwise I'd have grabbed your stuff in the blink of an eye.

Yeah, no, sorry dont worry. Decided I'd gone a project too far. If no one wants them I may keep for one day.

Doesn't EB have to sell his Les Higgins to the Count, then the count adds yours Tim to the stash to sell back to EB later?

This is probably the only project where that hasn't happened!

I'll have a look but might need mine in case me and Tim get the big boys out again. However, if I see any in Monk Bar models i town and I often do, do you want me to pick them up for you?

Having been impressed by Essex Boiz 20mm WSS, I might take a look at these (and EB's extra unit if he's willing to bring it along) and see if I can make a nice little Bavarian force out of them. Just for a little painting practice you understand.....
