And with all the money ebay made from you they could afford a platoon.
Mike McG (aka The Yank from Spanner and the Yank) used to plan 20mm hard plastic SYW figures if either he or I won the lottery. It obviously never happened. Zvezda- if they are ever allowed to export their kits and figures to the "West" again- must surely have some in their pipeline. With luck the infantry and cavalry will come in summer and winter dress versions, mate. Their artillerymen will also do for the French.
PS Painted those fingernails yet?

If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
Re: Late Antiquity Goths
Zvesda moved away from making boxes of figures some years ago. They left the SYW line with excellent (if a tad large) Prussian Guard Grenadiers & Hussars. Nothing else. Virtually no chance they'll pick up again.
The only hope in plastic was the Ukrainian manufacturers - Strelets (their WSS line is pretty good) & Mars. Let's see how that pans out.....
No eyeliner. No lipstick. No tattoos. I'm pretty boring & clearly far too conventional for my own good.

Re: Late Antiquity Goths
Zvezda seemed to do things in cycles, putting emphasis on a scale, type or period for a while, then moving to another project. So they may turn back to figures again. The other option is for Willz to pull his finger out and win the lottery, like he promised, and start producing the figures.

Re: Late Antiquity Goths
I think I recall reading that Mr Zvezda had died, and that the future of the company was uncertain. They certainly had excellent sculptors and produced some of the nicest 20mm figures and 15mm tank models.
Re: Late Antiquity Goths
That's unfortunate, Doug. Hopefully someone will pick up the moulds, drafters and sculptors.
