Austrian and Prussian grenadiers.

Post by Willz the Wargamer »

A quiet week, finished off these two grenadier battalions.
The Austrians are Spencer Smiths again took an age to paint. A generic grenadier battalion, flag by me.
The Prussians are Spencer Smith connoisseur range, painted as the 1st Prussian grenadier battalion, flag by David at "Not by Appointment". I bought the Prussian already painted I just touched up the colours and added more detail.
I know grenadiers did not carry flags but I like all my units carry a flag.

I'm with you, Willz. Bugger Fred and Mary's rules, the grenadiers are getting flags!
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?

Didn't real Austrian grenadiers actually have flags? Good work, either way.
