Ayton 2018 feeding & boozing.

Post by Peeler »

Good gentlefolk, as usual the cost of the weekend will be £50 per chap, to include hall rental, lunch on the Saturday & Sunday, the profits to go to Combat Stress charity. I may well obtain the lunch from Sainsburys, I think we all thought that last year's was a bit lacking for the cost of it.

IMPORTANT - well, fairly important, anyway - I'll suggest feeding at the Dennison on Friday & Walkers fish restaurant on the Saturday, unless you all want to do differently? So, please post up below as to which evenings you are feeding (hopefully both) and wether your wifey will be with you, so that I can confirm numbers. On Sunday eve, I'll book either Dennison again or That place at Folkton where we went last year, whichever people prefer on the weekend.

Beer wise, Friday could be at the Dennison, they have a good range, Saturday could be the Club followed by Denn or Forge, whichever we prefer.

I know that Andy & Iain are strange, post up if anyone else has foody problems.

And ..... I think that's it! 😁

I’m in for Friday, Saturday and Sunday please Peeler. All the above sounds good to me! As little driving as possible is probably best...

I’m up Friday this year.
I will require the sort of diet a great Hussar Commander needs.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights this year...all on my own...my wife is pleased to be shot of me for the weekend!

For lunches you might be able to order in advance from one of the supermarkets or even M&S then just pick it up on the day/day before?

Not sure if we will make the feeding times as son and family will be in tow and we shall have the dog on Friday. Do the Dennison admit small, adorable dogs.

I’m flying solo & will want fed friday, Saturday & Sunday.

The prospect of the Dennison twice running doesn’t thrill me, but I’ll go along if that’s the concensus.

Any interest in a curry night at all?

Buff, yes they do.

Bear in mind that the Dennison now does normal food of normal portions, reputation of quality. The "old Dennison" of huge portions is now at That pub at Folkton which we drive to sometimes on a Sunday.
