I'm moderately pleased with my attempts at blond-headed Goths:

Re: Gothic infantry
Very nicely done, Ochoin. Though I thought all Goths wore black clothes and heavy makeup, mate? Or is that Punks?
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
Re: Gothic infantry
Not sure. Sub-cultures tend to blur & merge over time. What was radical becomes passée.
I remember my tatoo'd grandfather (he was a RN sailor) was regarded as rather louche by my Mum's strictly Wee Frees' family. Now, everyone's tatoo'd - well not me, but neither am I judgemental.

Re: Gothic infantry
You and I both, mate. I can't tell a bodgie from a budgie or an emo from an emu. As for tat's, I considered a blood group and skippy badge tat when a young grunt, until one of the bloke's brand new tat got badly infected out bush. (Getting a tat done a couple of days before an exercise was not really smart.) I decided to waste my money on my car, girlfriend and wargames stuff (not necessarily in that order) instead.

Re: Gothic infantry
I *do* have a unit of Gaestati - naked Celtic warriors- and rather enjoyed using a blue paint pen to add suitable "body art" to them.
The boys at work keep me as up to date on sub-cultures as I want to be. Eshays, for instance -originally from SA but now, so I'm told, infesting urban areas all over OZ.

Re: Gothic infantry
You've definitely cracked it, Donald. Very nice toys.

Me too. Photos at wargame distances from now on, unless absolutely essential. I shall be painting for the table, and not the camera.

Re: Gothic infantry
Well yes, they certainly look the part, but the real test is are they terminally stupid?
Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)

A new one on me, but apparently from Sydney. https://manofmany.com/lifestyle/what-is-an-eshay makes me glad I'm (a) getting old & (b) have managed to avoid producing any such individuals amongst my kids.
Nice Goths too!
