I've recently been reminding myself why I hate painting 28mm figures with some AWI (British 2nd Light Infantry Bn & 2nd Grenadier Bn, plus the 2nd Maryland Continentals and some generals). I also managed to do the Saxon Carabiniersgarde in 15mm for our forthcoming Kolin refight:
Having got bored with C18th Civilians and still struggling with finishing some C18th cuirassiers I thought I needed a break so... Some C18th Irish in foreign service started... I hate painting straps...

It's always good to see some Géanna fiáine being painted up. I should get to work on mine. Very nice work, yer Countness.

Excellent work, both of you. Have Xmas Day off as a reward. Tell your respective Missuses I said so.....

Looking really good.
S'alright I suppose
It being Christmas, I thought I'd offer a bit of encouragement.
Come New Year I shall invest a new combo table light and magnifier. Start on my Trojans and Mycenaeans. I'm a bit nervous as the last time I painted was the last Ayton before lockdown.
