To combat the powers of technology are we going to give Sangomas some magic? Thought little things like a re-roll etc for either side (good juju or bad juju) might be fun.

We have some juju rules/event cards for Kumbahyah. One is to temporarily supercharge a unit that goes on a rampage for their move, causing chaos.

If you need a "kong" I have one and possibly other menagerie in Freya's animal boxes. Poison monkeys and snakes can be an issue in Kumbahyah.

I think the rules are pretty well balanced anyway and inserting some special rules that favour one side might be more work than it's worth, as you'd need to give the other side some favourable special rules as well!
(Besides the term Juju would be an anachronism for the Colonial game, originating in the C20th :D )

Oh, here we go...

Everybody wants to get freaky 'til the Cushing-McClure Patent Subterranean Locomotive pentrates their rear area and disgorges its payload.

The stated intention to Keep It Vanilla was well-advised.

Did we ever settle on a revised points value??

Have just been adding various bits and pieces to the Kanban (pause for GM to climax) and wondered if there'd been an appropriate amount of points-creep since the initial 30 points was suggested? 😀

I’m happy with 30 points, that’s 112 Zulus for me. Not sure I’d want more on the table from a manoeuvrability point of view. Nor from a painting point of view either.

Jamie, why don’t you paint 60 points worth and then on Saturday morning, choose your best 30 points for the weekend?
