After 6 weeks of staring the bits I had put together to try making snake fences I’ve found someone on eBay who makes extremely nice versions in 28mm and has agreed to make me some scaled for 20mm figures. They come in 15cm sections with an arrowhead shape at each end of the base which cleverly means you don’t need corner pieces.

I’m getting just short of 20 feet of them, which should be enough? Surely?

I’ve got two expandable tables which can go up to 10 foot by five

So that’s one road, lined on both sides, the length of the table. No side roads, no field systems?
If I’m thinking about it I’d say 40’.

But on a normal day I’d go 187’🤪

I used a google earth registered set of WWII air photos to figure out how much bocage hedging I needed for Normandy, the result was mind boggling.

It'll be naff with anything less than 80' (40' road) to play with. You know it's true.
EB has been whittling a lot lately while making the exact same thing.
