I wouldn’t mind knocking out 2 or 3 naps a week. Pretty tired lately

Up until mid July I had madly painted away like a mad thing, and now boredom and ennui has set in.
No interest in any period new or existing (even bought the 2 Helion FPW books on kindle for all of £7 the pair and not getting into it). No interest in painting or buying figures, terrain and building ideas have dried up, just total hobby stop.
I need a hobby to take me away from my hobby, but with Covid and stuff, not even finding anything that is pricking my interest (except maybe T Gauge model railways).
Woe, woe and thrice woe.....
Yup I know what you mean, what with all the current world/national/local/household issues and the cutting of Ayton (pretty much my only non solo gaming) i've mostly given up on wargames stuff. I have been doing some work on my 28mm shinies, but other than those have done nothing on any of the new lockdown purchases. Even then the work i'm doing is just because I want to clear the table

I suspect it's running 100 RPG games concurrently that's causing it, not the 2-3 figs.

I'm managing about 50-60 28mm Punic Wars figures a month since late March. Of late it's been more of a chore, but my weekly games in GHQ with Phil and Jon have boosted my flagging mojo no end. I even ordered some more Carthaginian Veterans today.

I find I'm recharged by building model kits - decent quality ones for preference, and out of my usual periods. At the moment, I have a 1/48 F111 on the stocks.

I've lost the will to live having rebased 16 Russian Napoleonic infantry battalions and am currently re flagging them
Cavalry and artillery next
I just hate seeing bits of shit and grit and flock all over my workbench
Then I look at the painting and thinks that's shit-shall I try and tart them up a bit? But then they are minifigs and were painted in the late 80s with enamels and have been varnished
Nah, give the buggers new flags lighter bases and hope nobody will notice

Funnily enough, that's EXACTLY what I did with my Russians back in June. Tons of really shit old figures - Old Glory, Lancashire, Minifigs, Battle Honours, AB and some completely unidentifiable figures. Now on spanking new bases and bright new flags - they look tremendous (as long as you don't look too close).
Anyway, I've broken the mojo-block today and got some 15mm Stuart tanks done for Burma. Just sending myself blind painting the white 'XIV' on the 14th Army formation signs...

I was going to paint today but I spent four hours asleep in my painting chair and then went out to cut the hedge. Oh well, still got tomorrow off.

I ended up just braising some steak, crisping up onions and making crispy potato slices, after my wife saw something similar on a Rick Stein programme this afternoon and 'requested' it for dinner, instead of painting.

Today's painting plan went totally out of the window. The weather has forced us to abandon a planned meet up in Conwy with the Memsahib's sister tomorrow so they will call in here instead. Much hurried tidying commenced. Then my son asked if we could dog sit for the afternoon.
