Or. Paint the glue onto a flat surface. Turn the base upside down and pop it onto the glue. Pop the 'glued' base onto a pre-flocked surface and, ta da!

I like Iain's basing and am going to copy....
Does anybody know where I can get some ta da and how much shall I order?

Mask the holes with masking (d'oh) tape or similar. should just peel off once done, at worst it will need a quick run round with a scalpel.
