Re: ECW
I've always thought 28mm is the bloody Frankenstein. 25mm or one inch, fine with the code boneyone and the imperials, 4,0xmm to the foot, 14mm to the metre, a nice figure if you like them big. Then 28mm comes in with 30mm figs and it looks like you are playing fantasy with gnolls - and they take twice as long to paint because of all the detail.

Perhaps they're working off Peeler's calendar? I see they're also releasing "Foots" - presumably each model will have at least two (four if it's a horse)?levied troop wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 8:29 pm I see they aim to launch at Salute 2017.
Creating a time machine just for a range of toy soldiers does seem a little OTT

I feel very ashamed of myself.Subedai wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2017 9:13 pmYou are such a disparaging individual. If memory serves you were quite happy to play ACW with the little chaps here and I seem to recall you enjoyed World2Dave's FPW 6mm as well.
I'm thinking I shan't ask you over for a game that you won't turn up to anyway...again.
Re: ECW
I'm not having that..........errrrrr............
Well, it was the dumbing down of the hobby that gave us 28mm.
Ha! In your face .
