Both of those cost even more than the thigh boots mini skirt and fishnets.

That's fine, I'll sort it myself. :)

In between sorting out the world from my keyboard, today I have chopped wood with an axe and fixed tyres for my nephew's new car. I'm all manly and stuff (today).

I think "Dicks" have had a bad press for too long. How about we replace them at the heart of the Anglosphere's opprobrium, with "Donalds"? "Donnies" equally acceptable; I'll leave it to our Aussie contingent to decide if "Don" should be included, given its historical association with Bradman (although I gather he could be a bit of a dick at times).

There seems to be a current spree of people making orders from small Wargames firms and then claiming that the order was not delivered and demanding a refund with menace. Normally this is along the lines of "I will destroy your company on the internet".
I haven't encountered this but know a few who have and they normally feel bullied into making a refund despite having evidence that delivery was made to the address provided. Unfortunately the majority of issues seem to arise from buyers in the USA, but that may be an artefact of it being an international order and US manufacturers may find that they have more issues with UK buyers.
I only ever send my items I sell on ebay by 2nd class signed for post, that is the only option I offer (1st class if they pay more). That way I know the item is delivered, it protects me and the buyer. I have had an arse who wanted to collect an item he had not even bid on, from my house to save £4.50 on postage, he was going to drive 35 miles ? to pick it up. As I pointed out I only ever post signed for.
This has always worked for me and I have had no complaints on any of my items sold, they all arrived safely and the buyers were happy.

Willz.

Same here, but I know of at least one manufacturer who felt so bullied by the threats that he refunded around £100 despite having proof from the Courier/Royal Mail that the parcel had been delivered to the address provided by the customer.

What why, would you do this if you have proof it was delivered. I have always stood up to bullies.
Germany in the 1960's I was bullied by two boys when I was 10/11, one piece of 2 buy 4 later and two battered arseholes.
Never bullied at that school again. The headmaster tried to expel me but my Dad said he would sue the school as they did nothing to stop it, well done Dad.

Willz,

That was exactly what I said. I won't name the trader, but he hasn't had the easiest of years so I think he felt that having to fight someone trying to ruin his business on the internet was fire fighting too far. I and others have urged him to name and shame the two individuals he's had the issues with, so others can avoid them, but nothing yet!
