I still have two pots of GW Flesh Wash. I used it on my Republican Romans and previously on my AZW Brits, about 50:50 wash and water.
Bloody hell.... I wish I had one of those. I have the GW Reikland Fleshshade, but I find it very 'ruddy'. The GW Fleshwash used to be my go to for flesh, and I was very sad when I ran out.

"Bloody hell.... I wish I had one of those."
I bought three in a model shop in Moonta, South Australia back in about 2014. I carried them around Australia and Singapore for a month before getting home.I've used one up so far.

Don't worry, no-ones mugging you for your flesh wash, we've learned to live without it..
I have wondered about mixing a little Agrax Earthshade into the Reikland Fleshwash??

After some experimentation, the Army Painter Flesh Wash seems to be the most effective.
With the usual care, it brushes on to slightly darken the entirety of the blocked in flesh areas, pooling suitably in recesses. The finish is matte. It has a mid brown finish as opposed to the ruddiness of the Citadel Reikland Flesh shade.
The Vallejo flesh wash is a bit awful IMO. It's too strong & over powers....&, yes, you could water it down but that's an unnecessary finessing.

Best flesh wash IMHO is any old bloody thing.
What you absolutely do not want is uniform complexions.
If you've got a tried and trusted formula for flesh tone... consider varying it a bit.
Because if you dont, you get an army of shop window dummies.
