Next Year.
Hm interesting. These sort of posts are always a good way of organising one's ideas etc. I'll start off with a round up of completions. 42 mm Shiny Toy Soldiers: I am calling that completed. Three large armies is enough for anybody, and I have no more cabinet space to house additional troops. I am halfway through refurbishing (re-painting and rebasing basically) my King and Country WWII collection, and by the end of this week that will be done and dusted. Can't afford to add to it anymore.
As for next year, ambitions are to bring my shiny 30mm ACW collection that was completed up to the new troop levels as decreed by EB. Actually it makes sense to add two more brigades to each army to get more fun out of our Shed rules. I want to make some more progress on my Imagination Ancients and 54 mm ECW armies. I do need to crank out some more ACW for the November game, then I can finally draw a line under that. Then I need to get some more shiny Napoleonics done, Prussians and British, to match Iain's output. And very tempted by the idea of putting together Swiss and Burgundian late Medieval armies in the style of Penda's Italian Wars collections. I think that's enough, provided I can stick to my guns.
