I tried it on a spare this morning. Good adhesion even when repeatedly flicked.

If it’s anything like Reaper’s resin. And it does sound similar, I’ve found it takes paint well and detail is indeed quite good.

Has anyone else had an issue with Reaper Bones 'soft' plastic figures turning shiny and sticky after painting/varnishing?
I've had a few go like this, and I'm not sure if it's due to use of washes, etc.

Kinda. Friend in SA was painting the Chibi range of miniatures (made from the same/similar material). Speaking to people, it seems the resin/plastic didn’t cure. Apparently putting it in the sun prior to painting for half an hour cures the resin.

I have had similar issues with Caesar 20mm plastic figures, undercoated, painted and varnished using acrylics. Figures dried matt then a couple of months later the figures turn shinny and sticky? Re-varnished but again after a while turned shinny and sticky, tried various undercoats enamel, PVA, and two coats of acrylic all had no effect. Still shinny and sticky.
My solution is to paint with acrylics and never varnish Caesar miniatures.

Thanks guys, I'll try the sunshine curing method, and also try to avoid varnishing!

Just looked at your twitter photo's of the Traveller painted figures, excellent work.
I used to have all them but gave them away 30+ years ago.
