Thanks for the positive vibes Gents, I've been very productive recently and will put spme otehr stufff up soon
@ Spanner - really because of the figures I think, they are a bit bland. I have noticed that Plastic doesn't really take the first coat well but a wash and highlighting sorts that and when done the paint is less likely to rub off like it can on metal figures (I don't varnish)

Cheers, VB. Being a bit bland wouldn't worry me- painting's a chore these days. Now to continue resisting temptation....

Kerry, you do realise that now you have painted this huge force of Pike and Shot, (albeit fighting for that treasonous knave Charles Stuart), you have no excuse to not to come to Ayton in 2023 and join the pike and shot fest. God save the Lord Protector, and the Commonwealth.
Blooming lovely work by the way old chap, as ever up to your high standards.

Thanks Tim, we are certainly mulling it over but bringing over a decent sized force is impossible because of weight limitations and as you may know with a 23kg allowance for weight I will need to bring at least 20kg leadpile back to NZ!

Two shirts, two pairs of undies, on pair of pants, all on your body when you get on the plane.

Really impressive stuff; both individual figures & the look of entire units & the army.
Why the waffle-edged bases though? I'm not critical, just curious.
