One might argue all my units are yellow! They certainly seem to behave like it more often than not on the tabletop.... boom boom!

I mean, there's more in the fruitbowl.
Is it like a Russian roulette thing?
It's possible I've got the wrong end of the stick here but I'm crapping myself now.

Although much harder to photograph accurately, for some strange reason.Atheling_2006 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 13, 2022 12:29 pm Possibly but blues are generally easier due to the colour saturation.

Without getting too technical, the darker the blue, the more light it will absorb ergo sometimes dark blues are difficult to capture with a camera.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Thu Apr 14, 2022 7:18 amAlthough much harder to photograph accurately, for some strange reason.Atheling_2006 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 13, 2022 12:29 pm Possibly but blues are generally easier due to the colour saturation.

I prime with either Halfords Matt Black or Gamecolour Matt Black (both very flat black). Just a dusting to avoid obscuring the detail.
Then basecoat with Scalecolour 75 Matt Black Primer mixed with water.
So, everything from a black base. I tend to leave black showing through to define the areas I want to leave visible. It's easy enough to just black line over any errors.
