Major Cormac McCaramac will be supporting the Last King of Kumbahyah Chief N'em Inem in a mixed force of tribal warriors and well drilled troops from the East Bongo Company a subsidiary of Terry's Chocolate of York.
All right, the puns are amusing, but you lost brownie points with the spelling. An elephant will cost you 10 points, with a crew of 3 and a mahout at 2 points extra. But I will have to work out some stats for it. No mumakil though, it must be of a realistic and proportionate size to 28mm figures.
Make it easy on yourself for stats and points where something could be a proxy for a "normal" unit? A single elephant could maybe be used as a proxy for a unit of irregular cavalry Lancers, giving them the extra punch when going forward, similarly Norms Camel Guns could work quite well as Irregular Mounted Infantry who are "Well Armed" (for the extra range) or you could always "rob" from the Dragon Rampant toolkit for the elephants?

I fear that we're getting dangerously close to someone prematurely splitting the atom.....

Thats what I had in mind, maybe two heffalumps equals a tribal cavalry unit, depending whose driving it?

10pts would be too many to commit I think. I'm not desperate to field them but I've got them as a possible option.

Blunder rule: if they fail a movement activation your dim-witted handlers accidentally light them.

Hmm, it didn't take long did it. I have devised a rule for weird weaponry you'll be pleased to know. The moment it is activated, whatever it is, it suffers a catastrophic and unexplained disaster.

So, give it to a clueless but enthusiastic Ghazi, tell him to charge the enemy and push the button in their midst.

Bit tasteless there, but whatever you say...
