They are much bigger than Pendraken. The ACW from Warlord are a much closer match to Kallistra than Pendraken.

Re: Warlord epic Napoleonics.
I don't know how hard these will be to get hold of now, but back in the 1970s, I seem to recall both Minifigs and Hinchliffe bringing out 12mm ranges, which were way ahead of their time with integral terrain, sabot bases etc etc. I never owned any so I couldn't tell you how tall they were in real life, but worth a punt maybe? Anyone else ever own any of them?FreddBloggs wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 6:19 pm The figures seem to be a very slender 13mm to the eyes, 15mm to the top of the head. Does anyone know old 15mm ranges that might match (note to self, check ESSEX) as Intend to use them with DBN so more command groups would give me more units.
IIRC, the Minifigs range was replaced by their 1st Generation 15mm, which were the original strips. I do have a few of those (not enough to make up full units or anything) and you're welcome to them to facilitate comparisons.

Probably use the 28mm, 60mm frontages they look pretty good in that sizing.Ilkley Old School wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 9:20 pmAre you going to cut the figures down to fit standard 40mm DBN bases or go with the 60mm base option.FreddBloggs wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 6:19 pm I have been drawn into this, just a British Infantry Brigade Box and a French Infantry Brigade one.
So keeping it small, and I can stop anytime I want....

Unboxing brought on a very quaint nostalgia of opening airfix boxes as a kid, much fun!
Have you seen what Lee is doing with Epic figures for DBN. http://napoleonictherapy.blogspot.com/?m=1

Warlord deliberately ensure their figures aren't compatible with anything else from what I can tell.....
It's the only reason for their eclectic choice of scales.

I have a very special place for all this tiny stuff, it's called a bin.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

It always gets out of handFreddBloggs wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 7:57 pmProbably, but part of the attraction is 1 strip = 1 figure in painting terms.goat major wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 7:24 pm You know what scales well with Pendraken ? A whole army of Pendraken !!!
