I could be easily tempted away from Colonial as it means a new period for me. Though if we're definately doing it thats fine and I'll recycle some Nubians/Arab types and maybe supplement with some Frenchies? Are we still using MWWBK?
Timbo, there will be plenty of loan troops available, so don't worry too much about that.

If I'm in charge of the Natives can we use my own rules for colonial wargames, which are in their early stages of development?
Well, there is a thought. A discussion will have to be had about that I feel.
Well, it is encouraging to see that there is still some interest to make this a goer, so onwards and upwards as they say.

Sadly, I believe Gary has already concluded that Men... King's is the way to go. Perhaps with my own Native movement and Regular and Colonial reloading rules bolted on?

Actually,no. I'm happy to use whatever rules people are happy with. My Colonial rules of choice are Black Powder, but I believe TMWWBK was selected because forces are smaller and made it easier for people to assemble an army.

I'm quite happy sticking with Colonial. Probably for both days.
