Each of the 120/90's are about 3" long and so on down to frigates at about 2" in length.
They sound great - inspired by Paul Hague's 'Sea Battles in Miniature' by any chance?

In principle i'd love to do this, in practice, most of those interested appear to be at the wrong end of the country :) I have a box of unmade Langton Miniatures I bought to game the naval side of C18th Jarldom of Helsing Vs Osteberg/Suomic Alliance Imagnations games. Mostly smaller ships and interesting things like galleys, from the Danish and Russian Nap. ranges.

Other than Ayton I prefer to keep things to 'day trip' distances ie. not more than 3 hours each way, but I certainly wouldn't rule out making the trip.

Nope, never heard of that book. I made them in mid to late 80's after a friend had made some. I never had much interest in the naval apsect of Napoleonic Wars but I was young and easily swayed back then. I slso wrote down the rules (as far as I remembered them). Both rules and ships are down here somewhere but in completely different areas of the cellar. Unfortunately, I can't remember exactly where.

:( I sold all of mine last year. 16 Langton's, 6 of them painted and rigged.

Got a good price for them though :D

Also just passed on all my GHQ Jutland stuff.

Naval. It's so last year darlings.

Ditto! I also read some Hornblower at about the same time.

Probably not the same Hornblower that Norm and Purps read

Certainly not the same horn that they blow.

Do age of sail and WW I light cruisers and destroyers. I was desperate to sink the bleedin Bismark, lousy wargaming.
